Licensed Application End User License Agreement

Acceptance of terms

By using Basement ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Community Guidelines and Content Policy

You agree not to post, upload, or share any content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Contains hate speech, discrimination, or promotes violence
  • Contains sexually explicit or pornographic material
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains spam, phishing, or malicious content
  • Impersonates others or misrepresents your identity

Zero Tolerance Policy

Basement maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Violations may result in:

  • Immediate removal of offending content
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
  • Reporting to appropriate authorities when required by law

Reporting and Moderation

Users can report objectionable content using the in-app reporting feature. All reports are reviewed and appropriate action is taken within 24 hours.

User Conduct

You are responsible for all content you post and your interactions with other users. You agree to treat other users with respect and courtesy.

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE CONTINUOUS, UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS TO THE APP.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this agreement.

Who runs Basement

Basement is operated by Sublevel Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Miami, Florida, USA ("Sublevel", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Sublevel Inc. Our mailing address is 575 Crandon Blvd Apt 712, Key Biscayne, FL 33149, USA. Contact us at support@basementbrowser.com.

Connected apps, including ChatGPT

You can connect your Basement account to another app, such as ChatGPT. You choose what it may do on the Basement page that asks for your permission, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings, then Connected apps. A connected app acts only within the permissions you gave it and these terms. Every purchase it prepares still needs you to confirm it in Basement's confirm card, under the most you said you would pay.

Purchases through Basement

Basement can buy physical items for you from online stores, only after you confirm each purchase and never above the limit you set. The store sells the item to you: its prices, shipping, returns and warranty terms apply. Basement does not sell digital goods through connected apps. When you buy from ChatGPT, you confirm the purchase on basementbrowser.com, signed in to your Basement account.

Where Basement is available

Purchases through Basement, and Basement in ChatGPT, are offered in the United States, for delivery to United States addresses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived. Any dispute about these terms or Basement will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and Sublevel Inc. agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
